The Space Restoration Society

Mission Statement:

"The Society aims to preserve and restore the historic equipment and facilities of the American manned and unmanned space program.

"Our first project specifically targets the Apollo-era Launch Umbilical Tower (LUT) used to send the first men to the moon.

"Subsequent projects will examine other facilities at the John F. Kennedy Space Center and all other space-related sites around the USA which could be salvaged and restored for posterity.
